At the Consultation Meeting, Prof. Markel conducts a complete clinical evaluation and analysis of all medical information and records provided by the patient, in order to generate an updated clear status report.

Each case is thoroughly and carefully examined by Prof. Markel, to provide the patient with a rationalized, personalized, treatment plan, and how to execute it. Support to the patient and primary caregivers is emphasized.

What to bring
All relevant medical documents, including Pathology Reports, Imaging Reports, Medical Summaries, imaging magnetic media etc.

When scheduling the appointment for a Consultation Meeting, it is highly recommended to submit the documents in advance via email.

Prof. Gal Markel is a board certified medical oncologist and is the Deputy Director General, Rabin Medical Center at Clalit Health Services.

Prof. Markel is among the cancer immunotherapy pioneers in Israel, and has global reputation in the fields of Immuno-Oncology, melanoma and skin cancers treatment and research.

Prof. Markel is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv University, and is regularly invited to speak in leading medical and scientific conferences around the globe in his field of expertise. He has been able successful in integration of the worlds of medicine, research and innovation.

Collaborations

Prof Markel collaborates with leading physicians from the areas of dermatology, plastic surgery, head-neck surgery and general surgery, in order to generate personally-tailored treatment plans for optimal results.

Education and Training

Prof. Markel is a graduate of the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem (MD, Medical Doctor), where he also, in parallel, completed his PhD with highest honors, researching the relationship between the immune system and cancer.

He completed his Residency in Oncology in the Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer, focusing on immuno-oncology, melanoma and skin cancers in the Ella Lemelbaum Institute.

In addition, Prof. Markel has also a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree in the space of Healthcare Innovation, from the IDC Herzliya.
